Brewery Facts
- Founded in 2007 by James Watt and Martin Dickie, then just 24 years old, and sick of the same old beers found in pubs and shops in Scotland
- Began operating their own pubs in 2010 in Aberdeen, Scotland; in 2020 there are 81 locations around the world with more in planning
- An international brand with a huge footprint, all beers sold in the U.S. are brewed in Columbus, OH since 2017
- They also have breweries in Ellan, Scotland; Brisbane, Australia; and soon, Berlin, Germany
- Has broken several world-records for Equity Crowdfunding through the Equity for Punks program, which allows the public to invest directly in the company
- The 2018 campaign raised 126 million dollars, from more than 70,000 investors
- BrewDog operates the world’s first craft beer hotel, called the Doghouse, at their Columbus brewery with draft beer on tap in each room
- Variety 12 pack cans, called the “Mystery Box” are a best-selling product for Bond. They contain 3 each of Punk IPA, Elvis Juice, Hazy Jane and a mystery beer, which could be a seasonal or limited release beer
